We embrace a personal responsibility to each client and provide our services as expected and on time, which means—if a client doesn’t get what they expected, we’ll do everything we can to make it right.
2. Going Beyond the Polish: Nearly every copy editor and editing service provider concentrates solely on the mistakes, but they frequently overlook major content issues. The editors at Myth & Verity go beyond mere improvements with flow and grammar. We ensure your book is deeply engaging for your audience. Our developmental and copy editing services focus on universal storytelling principles: narrative distance, emotional resonance, flow and pacing, structure, dramatic tension, and world-building. We do this in collaboration with our clients because polishing the words alone doesn’t always strengthen the work.
3. 99% Accuracy: Our procedure is a three-stage process: a full read, followed by a comprehensive edit, and finally a review edit. And though the industry standard benchmark for editorial error rates is 95%, we aim for a 99% rate of accuracy in our copyedit, line edit, and proofreading projects.
